A practical and playful workshop led by professional working actor, Becky Black (First Class Hons, BA Acting, Mountview).

Based on the practices of Stanislavski and Max Stafford Clarke, we will explore the core principles of ‘Actioning and Objectives’.

The workshop will uncover, and answer dilemmas and questions raised when studying this complex subject.

Students will leave the session with a clear understanding and a new enthusiasm for using and writing about ‘Actioning and Objectives’.

MEMORY MAGIC
Line Learning Workshop
A half-day workshop exploring the magic behind
image based memory learning
(Options available for all Key stages available, just ask)

Students will come away with an array of tools that can be applied not only to line-learning, but to any subject where information, facts or data must be memorized.

Having struggled to learn lines ahead of auditions and shows, Becky has researched and developed a collection of simple skills, throughout her career, to improve her memory.

This workshop is particularly useful for neurodiverse students, and creative thinkers. Becky draws upon her own experience as an Actor with Dyslexia.
